The Exclusiv Golf de Béthemont is the only course in France designed by the German Bernhard Langer, who has created an exceptional golfing experience only 20 minutes from Paris.
This recently-renovated former hunting ground spans 65 hectares, and is a haven of peace for the most exacting of golfers. With a 26-tee driving range, a putting green and even a short 6-hole course, its top-quality facilities distinguish it as a leader in its field.
Its 18-hole course is full of little details that make a big difference, offering players an incredible golfing experience. From dogleg holes and narrow fairways to water hazards, all surrounded by oak trees, the course has a particular charm about it.
The club’s restaurant, Le Domaine, is situated in a large, well-to-do mansion. It is surrounded by nature and serves classic French cuisine, which you can enjoy whilst admiring the view out over the Seine Valley and the gold course itself.
A royal excursion
A lovely little jaunt not far from the club is a stroll through the gardens at the Domaine National de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, where you can admire the flawless view over Paris from the Grande Terrasse designed by André Le Nôtre, the famous gardener responsible for the Château de Versailles. You’re also sure to be captivated by the charming royal town, with its pedestrian streets lined with townhouses and its plentiful squares and terraces. Shopaholics and foodies will love it too, with 800 fashion boutiques, home decor stores and food shops to explore.
